HAVE A QUESTION
FAQ
-
Is Semi-Permanent Makeup procedure painful?Your comfort during the procedure is very important to us, therefore a Topical Anesthetic cream is applied to numb the area to be treated. Everybody is very different when it comes to sensitivity, but most of our clients would describe the feeling as mild discomfort rather than pain.
-
How long does the procedure take? The procedure can take anything between 1h30min to 2h30min (for a new set), and 1h to 1h30min for a top-up.
-
How long does Semi-Permanent Makeup last?Semi-Permanent makeup may last anywhere from 1 to 3 years. Skin type, lifestyle, and maintenance - all take part in the duration. Touch-ups are recommended to maintain the desired look.
-
When should I get a top-up/correction?We recommend that you book your initial touch-up within 4-8 weeks after your first treatment. It is not uncommon to lose up to 50% of the pigment after the first application, which is why touch-up(s) are necessary to achieve the perfect result. This is included in the price of your first treatment. Yearly Top-Ups are also recommended to refresh the pigment.
-
Can I have Semi-Permanent Lip Makeup if I have lip filler? We recommend getting your Semi-Permanent Makeup treatment done first, however, if you recently had a Lip Filler done, wait at least 6-8 weeks before receiving the treatment.
-
Who cannot have Semi-Permanent Makeup done?We do not treat any clients who are: Under 18 years old Pregnant or breastfeeding Allergic to metal or color pigments Undergoing cancer treatment (Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy) Prone to Keloid scars Have a severe bleeding disorder Using Accutane/Roaccutane (must wait one year after the treatment is completed) We will ask you to fill in a consultation form before the treatment to make sure that it is safe to proceed. With certain health conditions, we may have to ask for a doctor’s clearance.
-
Can you retouch a Permanent Makeup done elsewhere?Booking a consultation with us is highly recommended so that we can assess any previous work you may have had done. In some cases, if the previous work is too dark or the shape is significantly different from what we would recommend, we may advise having it removed beforehand. Fortunately, our clinic offers Laser Permanent-Makeup removal, and we can immediately schedule your first session.
